Loops

Loops
through other loops.
Wrap around, under and through
forming fabric and patterns from straight string
the simple giving way to complex, and all just loops.
Formed by needles and hands, minds and hearts—and yarn.
Mere twists and turns, slipped over and under
somehow making something more than itself.
Making warmth, memories, feelings,
weaving life.
