Ode to Addi Turbos

Addi
Turbo circular needles,
everyone says I should own
some of these knitting tools, nay, instruments
of sheer beauty, which with rhythmic clicks and glistening smoothness
speed every creator through her projects almost effortlessly.
Do they slide through loops of
fibre, emitting a saber-
like sound?

I don’t have Addis yet, but they are my next knitting equipment purchase.
